It serves as a dedicated space for veterans to be buried with fellow service members and their spouses. The cemetery is operated by the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services and serves veterans and their spouses. All events are hosted by the West Tennessee Cemetery Support Group.  Co-Hosted by the Boy and Girl Scouts of America.

 

West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery is a State of Tennessee run cemetery that opened in 1992.  The director is Mark Moore and there are presently over 29,000  graves.  Veterans and their spouses are allowed to be buried at the cemetery.  Golf carts will assist those unable to walk from the parking area to the program center during programmed events only.
